WiVox

Often, people need to hear a word that appears on the computer screen. WiVox lets you hear what you've written in any Windows application. Write a letter, word, or sentence and WiVox speaks it as it is typed. Highlight a paragraph in a word processor, e-mail, or on a web page and WiVox will read it to you. WiVox also reads menus or entire documents.

When KeyREP and WiVox are used together, WiVox will read each word in the KeyREP prediction list to help you make a word selection. WiVox can also be used with WiViK2 REP and WiViK2 Scan to speak words, letters, or sentences typed into any Windows application.

WiVox requires either a sound card or external speech synthesizer for most languages including English, German, French, Spanish and Dutch. The sound card compatibility is built in for English with Lernout & Hauspie. WiVox will also work with Text Assist German, French and English.
