WiViK2 Scan provides an on-screen keyboard that lets you use a pointing device or a switch to select keys. When using a pointing device, simply click or dwell on a key to choose it. When using a switch, a highlight moves over the keyboard. Select the switch to choose the key you want and WiViK2 Scan sends it to the application you are using. With WiViK2 Scan you can also use the switch to open menus, edit text, move or resize windows, jump to other applications or move the mouse pointer. For more efficient typing WiViK2 Scan includes word prediction and abbreviation expansion. Begin typing a word. When it appears in the prediction list, choose the word and WiViK2 Scan will finish typing it for you. Abbreviations represents entire sentences. Type two or three letters and WiViK2 Scan will type the entire sentence that the abbreviation represents. An optional switch interface box permits you to connect one to five single switches, a dual switch or a 9-pin switch to the parallel port. WiViK2 Scan supports automatic, step, or directed scanning and is compatible with Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. Use WiViK2 Scan with WiVox to speak letters, words or sentences typed in any Windows application. WiViK is now available in English, Danish, French, German and Swedish. Switch Interface Box is also available.
