11-Function Infrared Control Pad

The Infra-Touch System is a steering wheel mounted control pad which enables the user to control up to 11 secondary vehicle functions directly from an integrated control pad/steering knob. It operates using infrared light technology, which allows it to rotate and function freely in all steering wheel positions. It's primary users are stroke victims, arm amputees, or other persons who are unable to access important secondary functions without compromising steering wheel control. Flexibility

Up to 8 functions may be programmed for momentary or continuous operation, normal or polarity-inverting.

Ergonomic Design

Switch locations and orientations are designed for optimal ergonomic operation and set in an attractive housing for an "Integrated" look. Backlit switches allow for easy nighttime identification of all functions.

Original Controls Operational

Original controls remain fully functional for non-disabled drivers.

Self-Testing

On-board diagnostic features ensure absolute accuracy and security every step of the way. A self-test function performs a full test of all subsystems on demand, while a triple verification process automatically validates each command issued three times for extra safety. Battery indicators also report on battery status while transmitting orders, and during the self-test.
