CombiBraille 85
The CombiBraille 85 is the most complete product of the new Tieman Braille
displays.
Not only the combination of the Braille and speech, but also the vertical
display (optional) and the external numeric keyboard (optional) make
the CombiBraille 85 an excellent partner for desktop computers in both
MS-DOS and MS-Windows evironments.
Because of its modem design the CombiBraille 85 fits well in today's offices.
Five Braillecells, displaying the status information like the position of the
Brailledisplay on the computer screen, the cursor position, the active mode, etc.,
are preceeding the 80 datacells and are clearly separated.
The CB85 has a cursor routing key above each Braillecell, its standard
function is move the cursor to that position where the cursor routing key
has been pressed.
The built in speech synthesiser contains 4 different languages.
The CombiBraille software governs both the Brailledisplay and the speech
synthesiser.
This is the reason why there is a perfectly balanced co-operation between
Braille and speech.
The CB85 can be connected to the computer either parallel or serial.
The software is easy to use through a menu with on-line help.
In short the CombiBraille 85 is the display for now and the future.
